I came to Toronto from Cape Town, South Africa, ten years ago, chasing a job. I live in Parkdale, and work at the University of Toronto, on the far eastern edge of the St George campus. I’ve been cycling to work and back regularly since coming here, and I don’t let the snow or rain stop me. I take my 3-year old daughter to day care in a Chariot trailer. And I don’t own a car. These postings are the musings of an alien eye in the bike networks of our beautifully flat and wonderfully underdeveloped city.
